Running back John Kelly and defensive lineman Quay Picou are the only incoming scholarship freshmen who have not yet enrolled because their final semesters of high school are still going. Both are expected to enroll in July.
Cincinnati transfer Ralph David Abernathy IV also is enrolled. His transfer was reported in November, though Tennessee has not formally acknowledged his addition.
Abernathy, the older brother of incoming freshman cornerback Micah Abernathy and grandson of civil rights leader Ralph Abernathy, rushed for 917 yards and eight touchdowns in four years at Cincinnati. He also caught 56 passes for 540 yards and four touchdowns and returned 87 kickoffs for 2,186 yards and a touchdown.
